Great Leaders Focus on Noble Goals

Runners use the term “PR” for personal record. It is their best time in a given race distance. The mindset is all about focusing on oneself.

Running for PR

Throughout history, most great leaders have focused their work values on helping others. Instead of focusing on building their own reputation, they focused on more noble things. Gandhi gave up his legal practice to secure the freedom of native Indians from the British. Abraham Lincoln wanted to put an end to slavery. Every leader has a opportunity for greatness. Invest your life, don’t just spend it. Make ripples – not just splashes. Every great leader makes those around them great and chooses a cause worth fighting for?

It is not about you or your reputation (PR) that matters – it is about making a difference for others! How do you want to be remember?
